  • In 1992 was one of less than 40 officers selected annually to participate in the Army's doctoral program. Conducted research in parallel computing and information retrieval resulting in 5 conference publications, 2 journal publications, and a patent application (#09/010,476) filed by the United States Army Intellectual Property Law Division.

  • Since retiring from the Army have served as Director and Vice President for start up technology companies and as an independent information technology consultant.
