COSC393: Wireless Networks Group Project 1. Due After Spring Break Design a celluar system for Washington DC. Major steps in this process are: 1. Divide the DC map into cellular regions. 2. Determine where the towers should be located. 3. Determine the frequency range that you plan to operate on. 4. Determine how you split the bandwidth to channels to support multiple simultaneous transmission. 5. Determine your income and expenditure. Argue why you made your choice? For example, why you decided to partition the way you partitioned DC area. Why you chose the frequency range? Why your way of splitting it to channels is better. The class is split into three teams.
