Pointers for Google Apps in a Mac Environment

 

iCal

Go to iCal, select iCal->Preferences... and select the Accounts tab.

Press the plus box on the lower left hand corner of the preference pane.

Select Account type Google and enter your Georgetown Google Apps email address and password.

You should be set!


Hint:

Google Calendar likes to automatically insert a default alarm for you. If you want to change it, you need to do it from the Google Calendar site, and not from iCal’s Preferences. Here is Google’s help page for changing the default notification setting.
